One road trip every month - Barcelona

23-05-2018 Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona, the city full of Gaudi masterpieces, the ramblas and the eternal sunshine. But this time, I wanted to see the real Barcelona.

After a succesfull discovery of a new city last month (Frankfurt), it was time to head back to a city I visited 8 years ago: Barcelona. I have to say, the city had a major upgrade since my last visit. Way cleaner, more pedastrian and cyclist only areas and it felt nicer in some way. Lars Cleven, a film maker which i often work with, currently lives there and showed me some local spots that I probably wouldnt have seen within him, so thanks again for that buddy!

Besides 2 or 3 occasions, I never used the metro and just cruised around the city on my little longboard cruiser. It's such a convenient way to discovery the city. You really get to see the city instead of hopping on and off the metro lines. Barcelona surprised me this visit, mostly skipped all the touristy parts and just discovered the city by board. Be sure to check out the neighbourhood of El Born, GrĂ cia and my personal favorite, Raval, the next time you visit Barcelona!

Anyhow, here's a little video recap that I've made of this awesome trip:
